Drexel University’s new admissions campaign, Ambition Can’t Wait, needed to speak viscerally to incoming students, and emote a sense of excitement and wonder.
Director and photographer, Tim Saccenti, solidified the idea by creating whimsical snapshots of students frozen in time and suspended in space. Tim tapped HFTF’s CD, Mark Rubbo, to develop the design components that would accompany each student.
Drexel chose six majors that would require six distinct visual treatments. An extensive design phase followed to ensure that each element spoke directly to its respective major. After print approval, the posters needed to come to life as cinemagraphs.
The posters were to exist as a part of a multi-platform campus-wide campaign. Web banners, Digital Billboards, Transport and other OOH experiential formats that needed to be considered for a successful delivery.
